Why YES create Cyberpunk Online
First of all, my English is not very good, I try to do my best so that they can understand the concept. As everyone knows, CD projekt Red is thinking of including or not including Multiplayer Cyberpunk 2077. This situation is simply ideas and suggestions, I do not fully know the game or its programming or algorithms, it is simply a brainstorm for IF to implement multiplayer and why it would be worth implementing.
ONLINE SYSTEM
- Depending on the size of the map, 16 to 40 players should be included in a room, in free mode.
- Use a cheap system like p2p with a connection server (similar to GTA online, but more stable)
- In mission mode, only give player slots depending on the mission:
* When connecting to a mission, the player freezes and everything disappears around him, and loads the mission module + the players who are going to be on the mission (instead of waiting on a loading screen, that does very immersive to the game)
* To carry out a mission, go to the place (in free mode) where the mission is going to be carried out, so when the modules load, it does not look like the matrix in your eyes, if they cannot do it, for example, in an elevator. Example: You are in free mode and want to do the mission of sabotaging the security systems of a company called PolyCorp, you go to the back of the PolyCorp building, you enter an icon where the mission begins, a box appears to see if there is players or you are alone, you wait freely in that small space, and since the players are ready, the other players disappear from free mode, the new modules and players appear and now if you listen to what you have to do in the mission in the box of dialogue.
ECONOMY SYSTEM
- To avoid that the Economy in Cyberpunk online is good, DO NOT SHARE money with others, you have to earn it
- Do not sell money from the game with real money (it can be solved very easily with another system below)
- Use business system in free mode (Like GTA online) but much more detailed and better controlled:
* Buy improvements for your business: Security, industrial development, growth of the place (from a very small warehouse, to a corporate building) Hire paid guards (this could include players, and not to make it boring, players are given missions like : Be close to the owner's business (s), be close to the owner player and perform freemode missions with him, defend the attacked businesses that other players are attacking)
* Businesses are vulnerable, other players may come to attack other players' businesses, but they have to go through extensive business security (this includes turrets, NPC guards and players, doors that need to hack, police and vault difficult to hack)
* A business is expensive (not anyone can have one), the profits are good and passive (you only do the supply and sale missions or destination, a player guard can also do it for you, he receives a payment for it, if it fails, it will receive negative points in its file, these points can be seen by the other players at the moment a player stands in the freemode as a guard)
* You can win or lose everything if other players hit the business (to avoid fraud, such hits to business would only win 1/4 of the total profit the business has, you can't hit the same player for the same player for 1 day , even if it's another business)
COMPANY PROFIT SYSTEM CD projekt
- Sell skin Cosmetics
* These Cosmetics are visually unique and extraordinary
* To encourage the sale of these, you could make a single skin to all weapons, little clothing to players, simple paint to vehicles and a single skin to business, free floor, all properties
* These skin would be very original (not a simple gold weapon and that's it), for example: Your gun with a skin for sale, becomes an alien weapon (EYE, it would only look like an alien weapon and would shoot as such, but it would not affect the damage, or the rate of fire, etc.), or change your chip sales business,
* A business that manufactures robots (it is seen on the inside how they assemble them, how they package them, when selling them, the truck says: Robot company, etc)
* The cars could convert them on the outside to something different (only on chassis, nothing mechanical, except the visual) and on the inside change the interior.
* The clothes can change to have very elegant costumes, superhero costumes, etc.
- Sell Exp or Membership enhancers (something acceptable to not harm the gameplay of others, for example the Exp helps you buy new weapons, or have enough level to buy a business, or vehicles.)
More ideas and suggestions are accepted. Developers in charge and Owner, remember that it is a game made with the greatest programming and detail of all, make this game end in a singleplayer, it makes the game end in a short time and in the future you go into nostalgia and play it another time, then wait year for another installment.
Look at GTA cattle online and how it is still alive to date for its broad content, observe Fortnite's earnings ONLY for selling cosmetics, now merge all that in Cyberpunk 2077 and what do they have? Well the answer you know. Do not lose hope, ask the community how they would like to have a multiplayer, but do not end a project that, by a decision, can be fun for a couple of weeks, or it can be fun for a couple of years. Greetings and thanks for your attention.
