I expect Cyberpunk Online will cause the downfall of CDPR.
Don't think so. IF the multiplayer fails they just won't make multiplayer modes for their future games.
It's not like they are trying to change to multiplayer games completely. The main attraction is still the single player. Multiplayer is only a bonus.
The Cyberpunk single player game will be seperated from the multiplayer. So the multiplayer won't have any effect on Cyberpunk 2077.
I think he means more on the fact that it will make them super greedy (if it's successful) that they almost stop putting out quality SP contents and spend their time milking the multiplayer instead.
Happened a lot: Bethesda, EA, Rockstar, etc.
If it flops, sure, they can just drop it.
