Blade Runner is unquestionably the most classic look of cyberpunk, but it doesn't necessarily have to be how all cyberpunk looks. In fact, CDPR might have been better off trying to do their own thing - maybe in a more Brave New World sort of direction - rather than trying to mimic Syd Mead (who is primarily responsible for Blade Runner's look) except with more 80's kitsch. It would really help this game to have its own identity.

I continue to be astonished how the same studio that managed to give The Witcher series such a strong look and incredible sense of place in The Witcher 3 have managed to create a cyberpunk game that is so thoroughly generic. The Deus Ex series did far better with far less.
