All the above is true, but also...
Cyberpunk as a concept has many fans who have been disappointed at the way that genre has drifted away into almost nothing.
What was once so full of potential and excitement, reflecting and predicting the way modern life wad going seems to have withered on the vine.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a chance to ride that wave again, and maybe...just maybe...spark a new life for that genre in books, games, movies etc.
Now if only the Matrix 4 can come out and be great at roughly the same time. Wishful thinking I know
