I doubt it. It's still an RPG. Even if there are a lot of branches, the main story thread will be fairly linear (I'm guessing). I find it unlikely that the devs would want you to be able to permanently ♥♥♥♥ over your character. Personally, I'd avoid looking at guides before at least finishing the game one way or another. Even if you make a mistake, I'm fairly sure it won't "ruin" that run, unless you want a specific outcome/ending.
