With respect to the players, or future players, play how you want, but we never get everything we want in a game or have the time to play, Cheers!!! I got work to do.
It's going to be an open world RPG. We've had these before and even in the same genre (Deus Ex)
I'm not expecting this game to re-invent that wheel. I'm just hoping for a good game, anything more crazier than that in expectations is going to ultimately lead to disappointment.
Deus Ex is hub world based. Not open world. You move from hub to hub and each hub is non linear. However its not open world. Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, Deus Ex, even the New Tomb Raider games are Hub based.
