From what I've seen it looks better than Deus Ex Mankind Divided with many different choices, and hopefully better AI than Deus Ex MD, but I don't feel that next-gen experience as many are claiming.

In what aspect? Gameplay, story, graphics, music, sound design, etc.

Exactly this. It will most likely be a very good game, but it will also probably be not what many people are expecting.
