They've said ages ago she wouldn't make a cameo. But who knows? Maybe they were diverging attention and she'll be there after all. No way anyone can confirm this but the devs. Not until the game comes out anyway.

I love Ciri's story because she can pop up anywhere within any game. But I agree, I think that if they were going to do it, she would have been in the trailer to build hype.

Yeah in the witcher books, stuff simaler to these discussions happen, such as the time Dandelion proposed the idea about how he though people in the future would fight from a distance where neither side could see each other.
