"Generally" ... its a qualified statement and I pre-ordered before the delays.
As for the "lies" ... you are going to have to be more specific as to what you believe the lies were.

If you are sure you'll want to play the game and have the disposable income there's no real reason not to; but at the same time, there isnt any real incentive to pre-order either.
I pre-ordered because I have the disposable income, the game excites me, and I generally trust the devs.

I pre-ordered it simply to say that I have the game since more than a year, but that's it, it's up to you to decide if you buy it or wait, a ''smarter'' choice would be to wait and see actual gameplay on youtube but I know I am going to like it, so I just bough it when I had spare money, if anything happens between now and the release of the game, I'll already have it in my Steam account so no worry for me even if I get into money trouble for whatever reason haha
