Mainstream stuff to play first.

  • Open World RPG: Fallout NV/Fallout/Arcanum.
  • RPG: VTM Bloodlines/Deus Ex, Planescape Torment.
  • FPS: Blood/Shadow Warrior/Ion Fury, Quake/Amid Evil.
  • RTS: Warcraft 3 + add on, all of C&C but avoid C&C4 and Red Alert 3.
  • 4X: Civ series, but avoid Civ 6, Stellaris(beware DLC spam), EU series(EU4 DLC spam), Master of Orion 1 and 2.
  • TBS: King's Bounty reboots - Legend and Armored Princess only.
  • Obscure, unknown and underrated stuff: Pathologic 2, Etherlords 2, Undying, Vangers, Sacrifice, MDK, Blade Runner, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, AquaNox 1 and 2, Outlaws, Anachronox.
