Will we be able to interact with random NPCs such as in RDR 2? Also, can you have fist fights?

Pretty sure I remember seeing them saying that some characters wont be into you because of their preference so yea this wont be like Dragon age II where everyone just flips sexual preferances on the fly or some of the many other games that have done that.

Also they said that npcs will gather at crimes sceens or interact with each other talking about events and or gather around a crime sceen and talk about it even if they saw you commite the crime make a comment to each other about things like i think thats the Guy/Girl who did it. =P
Keep in mind the kids you cant hurt tho witch is a good thing but its unclear if kids will be preasent in the game I personally thing it be a good thing they arent but im sure other would feel this would break there immersion, I just worrie how the the community would reacte and treat kids and or modding community in the future if they open up mod support.
Hopefully devs will add some kinda hidden program that makes the game go crazy with corperate police and some kinda military force on the player if they harm a child if the modding community adds a mod to harm a kid in game. =(

Source? When did CDPR confirm that you cannot talk to unnamed NPCs?Originally posted by Hoboslayer:this isnt like red dead where you greet people on the road, times were different back then. This is the worst city in america and people will not talk to you like in any real modern city thats horrible.

They have confirmed you will be able to take hostile action against any non-story/quest/child NPC, which is what you're saying, but I do not believe they have confirmed whether we can actually interact with them past taking hostile action (such as shooting them). Can we say hello to them? Or insult them? If so, is it more mini dialogue tree based (like RDR2) or is it just a single interact button that you can press multiple times (like GTA V), or something else entirely? And can you interact with them on a deeper level (like ask where the nearest store is, or ask for information, etc.) and if so, does that mean there will be a full dialogue tree with them?Originally posted by Samantha Raven:What i saw the devs claim the answear is yes to interacting and fighting random npcs but fighting random npcs will be consider a crime like it would in real life so expect depending on where your at in the game corperate police or gangsters to start shooting at you.

I would like to know this as well. Is it more of a GTA V style "interact" button, where you simply say something? Or an RDR2 style mini dialogue tree? Or no interaction (other than just shooting them)?

They did not.
Perhaps Hobo means that in Night City your response from NPCs might be a lot more negative than in RDR 2.
Also, it's not said who voted NC the "Worst City in America." For sure it wasn't Night City citizens.
Probably it was the US Cits. Night City is not in the USA, it is in the Free State of Northern California which is only loosely attached to 2077 USA.
As a Free City Night City manages to exist between Corporate, Municipal and State Control, a balancing act. Kind of like a Dark Future Casablanca.
Makes that vote kind of amusing, really. Envy? Corporate Poll?

I really hope they dont make everyone bi just so you can romance anyone regardless of gender - thats so unrealistic and a sjw thing to do.Originally posted by Hadrian Marlowe:You can probably talk to every NPC, and if I remember right, you can even have one night stands with them (depending on your sexuality). Yeah, it will be nice if we're able to choose our sexuality in character creation. All those dudes getting flirty with my character in Dragon's Dogma and Skyrim was a bit of an immersion breaker for me. But it shouldn't be hard to design with current tech.Originally posted by Hoboslayer:I really hope they dont make everyone bi just so you can romance anyone regardless of gender - thats so unrealistic and a sjw thing to do.Originally posted by Hadrian Marlowe:You can probably talk to every NPC, and if I remember right, you can even have one night stands with them (depending on your sexuality).
