True, I just hope the engine won't block itself knowing its inside a virtual machine...On the new Valorant "esport" fps game it can't be played within a vm :c

I wonder if Linux is supported though, But if you have Windows 7/8/8.1, there must be a work around to enable DX12

I have to agree with that, i've been updating from windows 10 version one after another (from 8.1 mind you) for almost 5 years flawlessly, never an issue, never even needed to do a fresh reinstall, still runs like a dream.

Untill this may 2020 update that still hasnt been offered to my system and just says "the update is coming, it will appear here when ready for your system".. which i guess is a slight improvement over "its coming but your system isnt ready yet? You dont have to do anything".. uh what?

Microsoft has dropped the ball.

It turns out that Microsoft released some tools to enable DX12 on Win7 on a game-by-game basis but didn't do it for Win8.1.

Damn. I hate Win 10, have it on my work Laptop (too weak to play the game). Dont like the forced updates and some of them are quite bad too. Raytracing... yeah looks good, but I would prefer to be able to play the game at all.

I was read in one rewiew then game will works only with Direct X 12. How I understand it haven't in Windows 8 and 8.1.
