Just started using the Mono wire and just like all the other arm augmentations it's bugged. I have the thermal damage mod witch turns the wire red, cool that's what I hoped it would do, but when ever I switch weapon then go back to the mono wire it is then green? through use of all arm augmentations it appears they are all visually bugged.
