I never tried VM for modern games, i expected them to run like trash. Any particular VM software in your mind for trying that ?

Here is a solid introduction.
Though be aware. I`ve maintained my own gaming VMs and let me tell you it was very frustrating at the end.
Getting it to run is the easy part but maintaining it to a stable state is a hard task. Im not that tech-heavy so other may have better experiences.
I would at least try to see it four yourself. You cant do much harm running VMs since that`s the whole purpose of running them :D

TikTok on your phone is collecting a thousand times more data on you than Windows 10 ever cares about.

Scroll down to the windows 10 section, read it and stop spouting nonsense.
Windows 10 is spyware, no matter how you want to convey your arguments.
And no, i dont use any tracking spyware apps on my phone let alone chinese anit-social media apps. Why does one assume i use these apps on my phone when i argue about E-privacy? Dont have any other facts to back up your view?

Sry to disappoint you but there are far more security risks than your browser but judging by your comment you already know that.
I mean you can update to a ltsc version of win10 and be at piece or simply switch to the glorious penguin.
Or you take it the hard way and run Win10 in a VM, blacklist the hell out of it with IPFire and tell M$ to suck its own dick.

If there will be a vulkan pipeline, than windows7 and linux distros are gonna be supported. Otherwise, no chance.
Edit: Anyway, for security reasons i wouldn`t run any of my machines with Win7 anymore. You should do the same, OP.

I've had Windows 10 since the free upgrade. Literally nothing bad has happened aside from some updates resetting my customized settings, which I quickly fixed in like five minutes.

I believe very strongly that it will require DX12 and Vulkan support at least.
There are no official system requirements as of yet. But if you're rocking Windows 7, I'm going to go ahead and assume you have a relatively older PC with older hardware. Perhaps it would best to look for a cheap PS4 or Xbone in a pawn shop. You can get them for around $150. (Much less than the cost to upgrade a PC.)
If Vulkan is supported then Win7 should be supported, but yeah that lack of official announcement is what has me wondering
My box is somewhat old but i havent had any problems with new games, its an oldish i7 with 16gb ram and i upgraded to a 1660ti last year so it should at be ok for 1080p max.
Consoles are not an option, waaaaaaaay too expensive in my country. Steam has regional pricing, its a steal in comparison.
I have avoided win10 because i use it for work and i hate it, is constantly updating itself and breaking something among other annoyances.
I guess ill wait, if its win10 it will have to wait until i decide to install that crap or find an alternative anyway. Maybe i'll try a dual boot if i uefi does not stop me
Vulcan MAY ONLY BE supported because Vulkan supports Ray Tracing. In which case, your game will not work on Windows 7.
However, the RED Engine that the game is built on does have support for DX11. Witcher 3 uses DX11. So who knows.

You're gonna have to upgrade to Windows 10 at some point. Might as well do it now. New games don't work better on Windows 7 if at all.Originally posted by JKjoker:will it support windows 7 or am i going to have to refund it if i buy it now ?
