Because I've always loved the Futuristic Stories, such as Bladerunner/2049, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Matrix Trilogy, 1984 & Simulacra Stimulation JB
I always want to be prepared for the future, even if it's just a Reality RPG such as CP_2077, Mostly because it's a CDPR game and i've loved their Witcher series too

I really hope this doesn't end up being kinda meh after all these years. Might be great but not willing to give it anymore chances. Likely buy it on super sale at this point on the next xbox.

The promise of a first person, deeply immersive, atmosphere-rich, cyberpunk, Witcher 3 quality story having, player choice driven, highly customizable, RPG experience first and foremost. Set in a dense, vertical city (as opposed to a lower-detail, scale-based, sprawling one like most open world city sandboxes boast having.) Verisimilitude and density over sheer scale and numerical quantity.
That's it. Everything else being speculated beyond that is just gravy to me and not required for me to get what I want out of it.
