This.Originally posted by Mayson the loyal Servant:If you want fair coverage, I'd rely on certain YouTubers. Games Journalists are pretty much all trash now. They're little more than paid ideologues, so they're going to unfairly rate the product not based on quality, but solely on compliance to "New Age think".
Case in point: The Last of Us II. Praised as 10 / 10 by every "professional reviewer". Slammed by actual players and critics from Independent Media.
The lamestream media has already made clear that they're on the warpath against CD Projekt Red for not bending the knee, so don't expect any valuable or fair journalism related to their games. They're going to slander the entire dev studio and publishing team for supposedly saying something controversial here or being "-phobic" there or whatever.

I don't mind the reviewers on YouTube, but if you want no commentary gameplay footage, here:

You want to see CDPR is going down? This fails, so does their company and no more games. CDPR does not have unlimited funds like EA, Activisiom, Ubisoft, 2k games etc.

The game its self will be fine. What they are trying to do is release all versions of the game consoles and PC at the same time with the same quality. That is what's causing the delays.

Edit: After skimming some of their reviews, they seem oddly positive. I'm happy for CD Projekt Red that they get the recognition they deserve, but it feels unexpected. Maybe I was wrong or for once they actually allowed actual passionate journalists to do their job. Who knows. This is out of the ordinary, though.

There's very limited number of people who have played this early demo, few of them have public steam accounts and even less of them would be looking at this forum.
Not to mention that they've already posted their reviews elsewhere.

If you looking for some negatives then a few publications noted them in their previews.
Originally posted by IGN:It’s also important to mention that my four hours with Cyberpunk 2077 weren’t perfect. I barely got a chance to use any of the hacking or stealth skills I invested so many of my first upgrade points into, such as disabling an area’s security cameras, unlocking all the doors in the vicinity, and throwing daggers like a ninja, among others. Admittedly, though, that’s more of a time-limit problem than a game problem. And for what it’s worth, I didn’t even see Keanu Reeves’s Johnny Silverhand the entire time I played, so it remains to be seen how large a role he plays.
I can definitively say that, in the build I played, the inventory management was a bit clunky, with some gear and upgrade screens best described as annoyingly unintuitive. So too were some of the tutorials (though at least those were short-lived), and the driving controls didn’t feel particularly good either – though I appreciated the option to drive from a third-person view. But most, if not all of these issues are exactly the kinds of things CD Projekt Red can spend the next four-plus months ironing out.
Originally posted by PCGamesN:Regrettably, the gunplay feels stiff and cumbersome, and on occasion I found myself unable to carry out the sequence of strafes and shots I had planned out in my mind. When you do land your shots, however, it always feels satisfying, with damage numbers, muzzle flash, and plenty of recoil all vying for your attention.
We'll have to see how it all balances out come release.
