Epic could pay me and give me the game for free on the Epic Games Store and I'd still laugh at them and say hell no. If a game has to sell out to Epic then it's probably not gonna be as good as it was expected to be anyways.

I'd buy any day from Epic it's a great store. Free games, bigger cuts to devs and it trickles down to better health for the studio and the game in general. That's all i care about in the end.

In this case i wouldn't play the game and wait until full release.. Just buy to support.

That with the consoles is kinda stuiped. XBox players get CP2077 for Series X if they on it for One. And PS4 to PS5 probably also.

The Devs of this game run GoG so if anything they would release it there and get 100% cut for their troubles.

In that case yeah i would get it. Otherwise if epic got the EA rights somehow then i could rest easy knowing they got a good deal of cash from it and free bug testers.
