Man, this game is way too pricey!
Triss has become my beloved so quickly even in the first game. But come on man, yet another single-player game will arrive and its price does not seem satisfying compared to the generosity of the exact same developers of the Witcher series with Cyberpunk 2077.
Why is this so?

I know. The point still stands: Triple A pricing is a bunch of bs. CDPR is one of the few I forgive tho because they actually deliver quality. CDPR and Larian Studios.
I agree on your statement, the "Triple AAA" Price variation shouldn't be used to define a game price, Only used in "definition", But I bought the game at full price too :D, even if had 20€ left for the month to eat, I was still happy to have it in my library!

I don't think CP´77 is that expensive. HOWEVER AAA games do not have to cost 49.99 to 59.99 to make profit. CDPR isn't as big as other "triple A" publishers yet but most "triple Ayy" games you see out here could easily cost around 25 euros and make a very healthy profit. AAA games are not developed or published by poor unknown companies that struggle with money. We are talking about multi billion companies here.
The triple A price myth has been busted so many times already but people still go on about "games are so expensive to make". Yeah they are.. They also sell absurdly well. The AAA pricing is especially absurd in todays age where video games have multiple DLCs, microtransactions, lootboxes, season passes and "expansion" passes (the expansions are pretty much a joke nowadays. They expand on nothing).
That all being said I'll probably get this one at full price on day one.
