Yes, those online connections are quite easily compromised by COVID-19. People that work hard on a game are outside all the time, getting sun, socializing with friends and being NOT nerdy, right?
I'm not attacking the game company, I simply want them to do what they said they would do. Even if it's just "hey, here's what we did this quarter".

Have you looked at their Twitter? They've been releasing a lot of small stuff weekly.

End of January the announced a delay - that changed a lot of things and that continued while they mapped out the new plans.
They've been releasing data steadily for weeks now. Obviously not what you want to see, but that doesn't change the facts. Closing thread.

Aside from their twitter, it could just be that there's nothing for them to actually update people on; personally, I consider such an 'update' to be "Hey, we hit a snag and won't make the release window". As far as I am concerned, no updates on the state of the game is good news because people would really only truly care, and thus circulate said news, if it was bad news. Good news is fantastic, but not really an important update, 9 times out of 10.
