I cancelled my pre-order once I found out they had put the release date back for the umpteenth, The same thing happened with Duke Nukem Forever & like an idiot I didn't listen to my gut that was telling me something was wrong

if you got nothing else you are looking foward to in that time frame, or you know you'll just buy it on launch anyways.Originally posted by Lybchikfreed:What is the point pre-ordering a game that soon?

Witcher 3 was delayed twice just as a reminder people.
I don't think it signals any issues with the making of the game but is rather typical of CDPR.
If you are worry keep in mind you can even if you pre-order refund 2 weeks or 2 hours of gameplay after launch AND ON GOG the cdpr store you have a 30 day no question ask return policy.
So they can't really risk releasing a turd, because they'll be so screwed over by their own return policy.

Do whatever man. If 60$ matter to you - then refund it. If it's pocket change - then who cares. You can always pre-order at any moment before release, really it's only a question of whether you have a better use for extra 60$.

It's your money and your decision honestly. BUT with the game releasing two months later you will have more time to play those games that you will buy during the steam sale and also save up those 60 Euro again. I would not worry about Cyberpunk being a Star Citizen like game. The Witcher 3 has also been delayed a couple of times and see how that ended up. But at the end of the day it is your money and your choice of games you wish to play and support.
