Does Cyberpunk have next gen graphics?
This thread was inspired from people asking about the PS5 update.

We can assume the game has been in real time development for at least 5 years now. They targeted current gen hardware. Since they have gone beyond their target release date they are going to update the game so it looks more next gen.

The fact is the game was still developed for current gen.

I say that to say this. Why are people acting like Cyberpunk has the best graphics ever, or that it's next gen? I have seen no proof of this. It doesn't look any better than Batman Arkham Knight which was released in 2015. So why is this game considered next gen, but Arkham Knight isn't?

What are you guys seeing that I am not?

the cyberpunk will receive patches that will use the "next gen power" after sometime on ps5 and xbox xyz , but its a current gen game, so the graphics will prob be what you have seen on videos (at least on pc) now on ps4 and xbox it will look like mashed potato as aways .
if this game receive a graphic update for the new gen i asume it will receive one for high end pcs too

People are blind and you should disregard those opinions. The game looks good but graphics are far from being its strong suit.

Also AK looks incredible.

Yeah AK is amazing. But it's still current gen which was my point. People are overrating this game and seeing things which are not true. Cyberpunk 2077 is also a current gen game.
