no, pandemic, economic recession , half of the population of my country is jobless at moment , my opressed gtx 1060 6b , i7 6700k and 32 gb will have to do the work.
if this pandemic dont existed and everything was normal, i would be getting a XT 5700 and some ryzen monster

I'm still on my Founders gtx 1080, with two server cpu's, plays well with current release titles, so i don't see any benefit of upgrading this year, due to the current state of confinement and mining crysis which makes the graphics cards prices go up, a 2080ti for 2x the price of launch? no thanks

ryzen 5 3600, 16G ram, 1660ti.
i dont plan on upgrading anything as i plan to play in 1440p.
i suspect you only need a 20xx series gpu if you want raytracing or 4k.

Got an RTX 2060 at the end of last year for super cheap (relative to prices in Romania). Paired with a Ryzen 7 2700, 16 gigs and an ultrawide screen it will have to do. I'll just lower the settings if it can't keep up. That's the beauty of PC gaming.

Your cpu only lacks memory latancy to my cpu but every thing else your cpu beats mine in your cpu has 12 cores and 24 threads mine only has 4 cores and 8 threads but it has hyber threading witch mite allow me to get away with playing this game on max every thing but ya.Originally posted by Subzero:nice specs, would a ryzen 9 offer similar performance to your intel cpu ?
Your only issue with your build is Ram using a 1440p monitor and if you plan to run this game on max every thing you will notice a much smoother gameplay experiance with more ram and more stable frame rates.
I imagine this game will for recommanded specs to have 16 gigs and maybe 8 gigs for min its always good to always have more ram then the recommanded requirements but if they ask for just 8-12 you should be fine.
Ram is the most over look componet on pcs but it makes such a amazing diffrents in games in more stable FPS specially in bigger open world eviroments that have alot of detail going on.

I built my pc Just to be ready for this game when it comes out to run it on max every thing with the latest tech features enable my only concern is my cpu but if I have to ill upgrade that too when the game releases its recommanded specs.
This is my build
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
System Ram: 65448MB RAM/64gigs DDR4 2133mhz Corsair LPX
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 TI FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING
Storage: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB and Intel SSD 545s Series 512gigs
Motherboard: EVGA Z270 Classificed
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GA, 80 Plus Gold 750W Fully Modular
Monitor: AOC "27G2G4" 27" 1ms Response Time, 1080p 144hz IPS Panel, Flat Screen
Chassis: Thermaltake Versa H35 Window Mid-tower
I just Hope my cpu will be enough cause if not replacing a motherboard and cpu are such a pain cause it basicly means rebuilding the hole thing. =P

I have a 3 year old GTX 1080 that gets the job done. And since there's a pandemic around rn buying new specs is the least of my priorities. As long as the game is decent, looks ok and runs smoothly with my current build I'll be happy.

You do realize that you are bottlenecking your GPU with your CPU? Why would you buy the most expensive GPU where you get the least more performance for your money compared to lower tier cards yet not spend a bit more on your CPU? Same regarding the rather cheap ram with only 2133? Yet you seem to have bought a very expensive Motherboard aswell - why do you need such an expensive motherboard?
You then combine this with a 27" 1080p monitor? Also i dont even get the whole 1ms 144hz thing - because i never had one of the issues it is supposed to fix since i always have high fps - but a serious question does your freesync monitor even support your nvidia gpu?
Sorry your build is pretty weird - i would never combine that cpu with that gpu. Also i would never buy a 2080ti bottlenecked by my CPU for 1080p gaming.
I have a monitor about the size of yours but i would never have bought such a big screen with only 1080p
Even tough your build is rather weird - you dont have to upgrade anything your system will handle any game without a problem in only 1080p.
If there is something you sould upgrade - then its your Monitor to 4k ;)

That would probably be a huge waste of money. I doubt that the nex 3000 series will give you more than 20-30% performance increase for a price that will probably - as always these days - be over the top.
Also since your only on 1440p i dont see any point. Maybe if you had a 4k monitor and the game is too demanding - but i even doubt that - i mean its also made for the last gen consoles.
If you think about it because of raytracing - just look at videos from BF5, Tomb Raider etc. the difference most of the time is not or hardly visible while it costs you 30-50% of your FPS.

1080 is still a good card. As long as you dont expect 4k with ultra settings and raytracing you should be fine. But i think 4K maybe even with raytracing probably wont run well even on high end rigs.
