Steam 1 day Exclusivity?
Either their sticking it to EGS or they only updated the month and not the day on steam's store page. I just thought this was funny as it releases on other platforms the 17th.

Shouldnt all zones be listed as the 17th though? So some regions will have it sooner than others, but should all list as 17th. That was my logic.

Valve and CD Projekt Red are both against exclusivity. They'd never sign an exclusivity deal for Steam and wouldn't hold CP2077 on just GoG.

The only exclusives on Steam and GoG are the games where developers didn't bother to put them on other platforms. There were never any outright exclusivity deals.

My guess is the release is set at midnight Warsaw time or something like that, and Steam takes timezones into account while EGS does not.

Midnight September 17th (using that guess because it's the best I have and it makes no difference anyway) CEST is the exact same moment everywhere, it's just clocks will show different times. Steam store localizes currency, so why not timezone too.

Yeah, that is weird. Goes against my theory about store localizing timezones, and against what the OP says.

Except making the latest Half Life game VR-only. ;D
