I'm still looking to purchase a RTX 2xxx for the Raytracing to get immersive gfx
Day 1, I have 1 year of "Chomage" (France has this for unemployement benefits)
I've only played 4 Games this year, Deus Ex 3 & 4, Vallhalla bar, and Shadowrunner.
Sortings things in life at this current period sure is a difficult time, but it's part of what makes us unique because we all have variables of types of problems/things we need to achieve...

@skumquat well that depends if you want to run cp2077 with ray tracing (tbh ray tracing still needs work to run comfortably without having an overkill system) also depends on budget,but something like a ryzen 3600,16gb of 3200mhz+ ddr4 and a 2070 super or 1080/ti is more than enough (you can get decent 2nd hand 1080/ti for £300-£500 and the 1080 ti stomps the 2070 super if ray tracing isn't in the equation,i would say definitely get a 500gb-1tb sata ssd will make a huge difference for things like cp2077 and other games.
@GeraltOfNightCity yeap same here,i recently bought a switch and have been hooked on fire emblem three houses,astral chain and xenoblade chronicles definitive edition (plus i have a huge backlog of games,this gives me time to tie up any must play loose ends.

When i got my ps5 and not sooner.
My pc is sadly now getting too old and its not cost effective to buy a ~2000 to maybe even 3000eu system when a 500 euro machine rivals an RTX2080ti and is 50% more efficient at the same time. (bigger transistors, newer tech, smaller chip etc)

I"m shopping for a new PC build now, wanting to get more concrete information on the recommended stats so i can make sure i go WAY above it. Plus i'm wanting to get something that can play Ashes of Creation possibly when it comes out, and with the new Unreal 5 engine out, it's going to be pushing some amazing looking games, I can't wait to see what the summer reveals are next year.

Im actually glad it got delayed cuz not only will game be more polished and optimized but I also get more time to play or finish red dead redemption 2. When cp2077 comes out I will prolly only play it for thousands of hours.
