The Rested buff is much appreciated and gives us a reason to have V sleep regularly. However, looting any Skill Shard removes the Rested buff regardless of how much time is left on the buff.

I assume this is at least partially intentional to avoid applying the bonus to the XP calculation that adds 1 level to a skill. It makes sense to temporarily remove or disable the buff for that reason. But it would be appreciated if the remaining time on the buff were remembered and re-applied after...
